Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

About our program

Churchill North's OSHC program allows children to be supervised by our qualified staff whilst having fun in a safe and stimulating environment. The service is available to primary-aged children from Churchill North Primary, Churchill Primary, Lumen Christi, and schools in surrounding districts.

In the mornings, students are given time to engage in our fun activities. They are then taken to our Breakfast Club at 8:15 for a free nutritious breakfast, if they choose.

In the afternoons, staff begin the program by encouraging students to have a healthy snack, followed by activities chosen by the children. We have excellent facilities available, which allow students to undertake a wide range of activities. Outside play is encouraged, weather permitting.

Bookings can be made for regular days, or on a casual basis.

What time?

Before School Care is available from 7am until 8:30am.

After School Care is available from 3:15pm until 6:00pm.

How much?

Before School Care is $20.00 per day, including attendance at Breakfast Club.

After School Care is $10.00 per hour per child. Late pick-ups will incur a fee of $1.00 per minute, per child.

Families may claim Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for this program. Applications for CCS are made through the Family Assistance Office, quoting our reference number 1-AIQTZP.

What to bring?

Students should bring a snack and a drink to After School Care.

Before School Care is fully catered by Breakfast Club.

Absences

If your child will be absent from the program on one of their scheduled days, please contact the school asap.

Families who do not cancel their bookings and fail to attend will be charged accordingly.

Student Behaviour

It is expected that general behaviour of all children will be of a safe and thoughtful nature. Inappropriate behaviour will not be accepted.

Any and all incidents that may occur require documentation and, where necessary, parents are informed.
